cpu maybe dead?

Go to solution Solved by UnusualDevices,

sounds like you changed the power limits, which wont fry anything.

to start troubleshooting, lets do this.

hold the power button in until all lights go off.

unplug the power from pc

open case and remove cmos battery.

hold power for 20 seconds to drain all capacitors

replace cmos battery and close case

plug pc power in

try to get to bios again and report

i was in start up bios after building my pc, and i was going to over clock it so i set the wattage to 230 watts for my CPU (i have no idea what i was doing) and forgot that i had done that and exited bios, the computer shut off and when i turned it back on it went back to start up bios. i did that for a while until the computer just stopped posting all together. I'm running integrated graphics instead of using a graphics card Dbug led showed a dram error and a CPU error I'm using a Ryzen 5 7600x processor is my CPU dead or is there a problem with the ram,I've been collecting parts for this pc for the past 2 years any help would be appreciated. (the mother board has a broken Dram slot.)

Just... why?

Unless you're building with 10 year old parts there's simply no justification in overclocking a brand new system, let alone by randomly changing BIOS values.

Do what UnusualDevices suggested and clear CMOS.
