Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 12VHPWR 3x8 Pin compatibility

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a RTX 4070 Ti OC from Asus and I wanted to know if the Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 12VHPWR 3x8 Pin is compatible with the GPU.

And does it consume a lot of power and work with any PSU?

Mine is a MSI MPG A850GF (850w 80 plus gold)

It's compatible but those Strimers are trash. I've seen a lot of (semi) high end system seen crashing because of Strimers. In fact Strimers are extensions. Extensions add length to the cable and extra connectors. This makes the resistance higher and the voltage at the end of the cable would be lower. Sometimes to low that the GPU will crash.
