Need a little help woth Lego pc case

NukoTi

Planning to make an open air case for my pc out of lego, is there anything that i need to look out for? Like making sure the back of the motherboard is fully protected, or is it safe just placing it ontop of. and making a diy power button aswell

It's a good idea to make sure that your motherboard is properly grounded. A grounding lead going from at least one of the motherboard screw mounts that somehow ultimately electrically connects to the grounding pole on the power plug is a good idea to start. Also, 3D printing certain parts like a power button mount isn't a bad idea.

for the power button, i have a buncha usb wire here and keyboard switches and im hoping i can just make a makeshift powerbutton with that, and for grounding the motherboard isnt it already grounded by the psu? if not can i just ground it by connecting the screw to the metal case of the psu for ground?
