Budget (including currency): No budget but would like to not go over $2000 CAD for the parts I do not own already.

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  All games and any future games I hope. Streaming.

So I have been flip flopping on which CPU to buy for DDR5 so I would like some advice on the pros and cons of both. I have a lot of trouble on comparing the cpus and the price/value. I have an AMD processor already listed in my parts list but the Intel cpu I was thinking was a i9-12700k. I At the moment in this build I already have the GPU and the Case from my previous PC. I will be buying the parts on sale and one or two at a time.

If you think there is anyway I can save on the build that would keep the DDR5 speeds be awesome.

Not a good idea. Tech changes frequently. Consider saving up the budget then buying everything.

The comparable Intel to the 7900X is the i7-14700K(F). In gaming there is not a great deal of difference between the CPU.

Instead of a Corsair AIO consider one with lighting that can be controlled using the motherboard A-RGB header. The Deepcool LS720 or Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB (if the case can accommodate the extra thick rad).

The memory kit only has XMP profiles. Buying a memory kit that includes EXPO profiles makes sense for AMD CPU. I'd also suggest checking the motherboard memory QVL when looking at speeds over 6000.

Instead of two NVMe drives, consider a single 4TB unit. Otherwise, the 1TB drive should be PCIe 4.0.

More expensive, but consider a case like https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/KKytt6/lian-li-lancool-216-atx-mid-tower-case-lancool-216rx with a mesh front.

Consider using the RM850e instead of the RM1000e.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
