Budget (including currency): 3500 AUD (Hoping to find an alternative much cheaper)

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe Premiere Pro

Other details 4K 60fps 4:2:2 10 Bit Multicam with 4 Sony A7Siii cameras in Adobe Premiere Pro. Mainly interested in best scrubbing and timeline performance.

If you guys also have builds in the 1500 or max 2000 AUD range that can still do a good job, they would be much more preferable.

Thank you. This is a reference for a higher end build:

13900k and a 240 AIO is just not gonna work well at all. also dont get a b760 board with a 13900k, just wasting money on the cpu at that point. You also dont NEED a 13900k to do 4k editing. It just makes it faster with adobe.

Do note 14700k requires a bios update.

That would be under the 3500 AUD mark and still work. 1500-2000 AUD range would be buying a used PC from someone upgrading. Which may be a viable option depending on your area 🙂

Thank you, I appreciate the advice. One problem though, is the i7 being an F series CPU, meaning there is no intel quick sync, with quick sync being the main reason for better scrubbing and fast timeline performance in premiere. Without the iGPU in premiere, cpu would be much of a muchness. In that case would you just recommend the i7 14700K?

Yeah if you want quicksync,  i did that cause it was nearly 50 AUD more 😞 Since you wanted to save a bit. Makes more sense in your case to spend that to get the quick sync benefit.
