This is a test system that i recently pickup that is different from my main. The system in question is an i7-990x on a ROG Ramage II Extreme in a Silverstone TJ07B. The GPU Im tryin to install is an RTX A4000 in place or along side a GTX 970

What's the power supply in the system? Does the 970 work in the system?

Could be a power issue, or an incompatibility with the board? Not sure.

The PSU is a Tagan BZ Series 1300W and the 970 works fine... its the only GPU that WANTS to work with the system... nothin else

Does that motherboard support UEFI? It's possible the A4000 doesn't support legacy BIOS.

It probably doesn't support above 4G decoding, but I'm not sure if that just caps you at 4 GB of VRAM or if it stops the card from booting entirely.

A quick Googling found some old Reddit posts that say ACPI 2.0 has to be enabled for Turing cards to work on X58, maybe Ampere is in the same boat.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

It does work with my Core 2 system so it should work with the i7 but it doesnt. i even make sure ACPI 2.0 is active
