Strange Problems.

Hi all,

 

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I've been experience Random Application Crashes. And Random Issues with anything running under WSL.

 

I cannot see any problems & my System it's self doesn't BSOD.

 

But after throwing Prime95 at it Prime is returning Fatal Errors.

 

I have no OC's and I am running everything stock.

 

My system is:-

CPU: I9 - 13900K

MainBoard: Asus Rog Strix Z790 -E

Ram : 2 X Corsair CMH64GX5M2B5600C36 Totalling 64Gb.

Graphics: Asus Tuf Rtx 4090

What are your temps under load and idle?

Have you ran any memory diagnostics? If not run Windows Memory Diagnostic and see if it finds any errors.

What are the rest of your system specs, Case, Cooler, Power Supply, etc?

What specific applications are crashing?

My temps when Idling are 21 - 28C  & under load are :- 63 - 74 C

 

I've run Completed a Windows Memory Diagnostic & have no reported Errors.

 

Cooler is:- ROG Strix  LC2 360

Power Supply is:- Corsair HX1200
Case is:-  O11 DYNAMIC XL

 

Disk drives are :-
Sabrent M.2 NVMe 2TB Gen 4 - Boot Drive

Sabrent M.2 NVMe 4TB Gen 4

Samsung 870 Qvo 4TB
Corsair Force MP600 1TB -

Samsung SDD 850 Pro 512Gb

The Application's that crash / just go away from running are :- 

Postman

RenPy

Discord

Teams

Vscode - ( But this might be my code ? )

 

I get Intermittent issues with the Cam not working properly when my systems boots and isn't available for face recognition to log in.

Can you post error message in event log from crashed applications?

 

Usually points in some direction.

 

Sounds like applications can run but won't hold for some reason.

Sounds familiar with my GPU
