Is Mesh system good?

recently ive been looking into mesh system because my ethernet extender is ass, i get low ping in games but really bad download when i use to get 200-300Mbps and now i get 10-50Mbps, i was wondering if mesh system is good?

Yes, mesh WiFi typically works extremely well.

A mesh system only really works if they're connected to each other. IF you're expecting the Mesh system to extend each others wifi signals then it's gonna be spectacularly terrible. 

IDK what your current setup is, but if you're not hardwired to Ethernet extender or the extender isn't hardwired to the router, then it's gonna offer significantly lesser speeds.

Yes, mesh is good but has its limits. Every time your wifi signal is passed from one device to another you add latency. The best option is to have multiple access points hard wired to a switch. I do understand this isn't always possible if you don't have a way to run wires.
