so I have a 5700 XT from PowerColor that kept crashing in game, but weirdly enough if I use the old 2019 driver (19.7.5) I never experienced a single crash why is that? I've tried all other drivers that's newer than the one I'm currently using (ADRENALIN 19.7.5) it all resulted in a crash.

I've tried swapping CPUs, Motherboards, SSDs, RAM sticks, PSUs, I also tried another GPU on all my config it all performs normally except the one with 5700 XT (with driver newer than 19.7.5).

And even in the old driver I have to lower the memory clock to max 600MHz otherwise it will crash in game. Is there any way to lower the memory clock below the limit on the newer driver which is around 1500MHz to atleast 600MHz? which from my investigation it seems the memory clock is at fault. I would appreciate any kind of help regarding my trouble here.

Thank you.

So everything other than reinstalling windows? Either way if you are able to get your system to be stable with lower clocks, then its probably about time you serviced that card.

Which game(s) ? Can you check the temps and clocks when gaming ?

Could be it crashes while wanting to clock too high, power, thermals or voltage issue

tried that also with the swapping ssd still same result, well i just wondering if there's a way to bypass the memory clock limit on the driver

*Also I don't think I can get it serviced since the gpu is 2nd/3rd hand and I live in a quite remote place

pretty much tried AAA games like microsoft flight sim, cyberpunk, ghostwire, Fortnite, etc and I can confirm it is not the temps cuz it's been hovering between 45-60 while gaming. on the other hand I tried OC and UC still same result unless I use the older 19.7.5 driver and reduce the memory clock to 600MHz

since you have issues with memory frequency, look into memory temperatures

gaming system: Intel core I9 12900ks / biostar Z690A valkyrie / 4x8gb corsair Vengeance @3333Mhz ram / RX 7900XTX pulse gpu / Thermalright peerless assassin 140 /Coolermaster Qube 500 case / Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 12 1500w power supply

laptop: Dell xps 9510, 3.5k OLED, i7 11800h, rtx 3050 ti, 2x16gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz, 1TB main drive, 2TB add in ssd
