Could I dedicate a separate Wi-Fi adapter to OBS?

Hello, I have multiple USB Wi-Fi adapters. I was wondering if I could dedicate one of them to OBS, as I think that would make streaming faster. I am using KDE neon.

They isn’t how that works. Streaming performance will be limited by your internet speed, not your local network speed.

Also, more WiFi devices will by definition just cause more WiFi interference, which hurts performance. Would it hurt performance in a meaningful way, almost certainly not, but it also won’t help anything.

🤔... i don't think that would work, since all your NIC's can only have 1 gateway, you can team them up, ... yes wifi too.. but not sure if your USB adapters will make it any faster, and it needs to be supported by the software/drivers.

If possible, i would stretch a cable as that's usually faster anyway.

what wifi version does your router support and what version are your USB adaptors?

That makes sense.
