Howdy y'all, I'm trying to piece together a cheap workstation PC for my father for his work and school and I was wondering if the Quadro M4000 would be a good option for Solidworks 2023 as a budget workstation card. I've looked in many places and can't get a definitive answer as every review I have seen of the card just tries to game on it and he won't be doing any of that. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Looking at the hardware that has been officially certified for Solidworks 2023, it looks like there are a couple of mobile workstations featuring the Quadro M1200 that were certified for it. Considering that the Quadro M1200 is weaker than the M4000, and has less VRAM, but does use the same architecture, it should mean that the M4000 will work with Solidworks 2023.
