Strange error with ram.

Hello, i'm having a strange problem. My friend came round for me to fix his pc. I Found the problem and got it working. I Was having a problem with my new motherboard, cpu and ram. I Have 2x16gb ddr4 ram sticks. 1 Specific stick works in my pc but the other doesnt. I try both at the same time and pc just turns on then off then on etc. Try the "broken" ram stick in my friends pc and it boots. Any help on this? Thanks
