Please let me see if I can explain some things.

1. I'm only going off off what you have said so far but I made a list with all the parts that you had originally picked and I could not see how it only added up to $690. So I made another list for you that was as low as I could possibly get it for you.

2. A A520 Motherboard would severely hurt the Ryzen 5 5600. There's no PCIe Gen4 which is needed for the GPU to run at it's intended Speeds and there would be no Overclocking options for the CPU. Ryzen loves to be Overclocked automatically by the BIOS, no tweaking is needed by the user. Running the CPU at stock Speeds is the same with the GPU, it's like putting a vice or a muzzle on it for no reason or like cutting one of it's legs off.

3. Everything else I picked was for cheaper reasons, not that they are cheap parts by any means but more affordable options. I changed the M.2 to give you more Drive Speed and the PSU because it is A-Tier and has a 10 year warranty. The Case you had I could not find so I just got a different option that has better Fans and a more reliable product. The GPU I was able to save you some money and it has higher Boost Clock Speeds than the ASUS TUF model.

I hope I have answered your question. If you have any more please feel free to ask.

Not correct.  The 6700xt does not need 4.0 to run games at full speed.  Some aX20 boards can BLCK OC, but the automatic boosting on the 5600 is more than enough for a 6700xt anyway, there’s no point in overclocking it.

A case?

I’m usually first to advocate the cheapest AiB possible with the same GPU chip, but the ASUS Tuf is a better AiB despite the listed boost clock speed.  It has a better cooler on it and I have no doubt it’ll stay cooler at higher speeds.  Regardless, the phantom gaming is $10 more and has a much better cooler on it.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
