Plex Server Help

Go to solution Solved by Macfox38,

Update finally got it to work. Had to tweak the naming of the files just barely so Plex would read them. Its weird cause none of the other files had the same issue.

I follow this guide:

Hello, i need some help with some files on my Plex server running on my TrueNAS server.

The files in question are the episodes of Stephen King's The Stand that i copied from the DVDs. I left them in their uncompressed MKV files and have them in their own folder with each part named accordingly(it should be said that i have done this for nearly every file that i have uploaded to the server and the rest show up just fine)

I put them in my TV Show folder on the Plex server library and nothing, No indication that the Plex server even sees them. Im not sure why it has a blind spot for these files in particular. If i drop the folder for them into my movies folder the individual files appear but i want them contained as a single show. For fun i tried to handbrake them in to MP4s and that still hasn't corrected the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm curious.

What was a name before and after?

I have used plex for years and never had that problem.

Mine used to be running on windows but now Truenas runs it since I switched to scale like 2 years ago.
