RMA help

Hi all,

 

I bought a MSI mag z790 tomahawk max wifi motherboard recently. On building the CPU would not sit in the slot.

 

On further close inspection I found an out of place pin by a bad join (see picture)

 

Only problem is I think other pins have very slightly bent by the CPU not sitting down, is this rma worthy because of the poor manufacture or will the store blame me for bending pins?

From what I can see, it looks like a fault during manufacture, I don't know what would be capable of that kind of damage by the user, but stores will always try to blame physical damage on you.

To me this would be an easy RMA. There is no way your CPU did that even if you put a lot of pressure on it.

Looks like a fault during production. Send it back asap.
