what's your gpu? It's probably best if you undervolt your gpu following the guide at 13:42

Honestly, figure out the highest power the socket can give to the cpu, then set an aggressive all core curve, and add your +200MHz and let er rip.

I use 260/170/190 -26 +200 and she is tight. Gives my X3D a run for its money.

It's on Auto OC from gigabyte, and it's already silent, 2890mhz 64C max while gaming. So I'm not seeing any reason why to Undervolt my 4070 😅

If you're bottleneck is the 4070 (which at 1440p it probs will be) then you'll be getting a performance benefit from doing that. My 3060 was also silent and performing well but I wanted more performance out of rocket league and it wasn't my cpu bottlenecking it so I followed the steps in the vid above and went from 400 fps in rl to 500

But do you have a bottleneck?

Maybe it's worth checking anyway. It won't hurt 🫣

Most likely yes, in fps games, like CoD for example, when I saw some benchmarks, with same GPU, but better CPU getting much more FPS. So that's why I was wondering if I can OC it, like 5Ghz All Cores 🤭... I know it's not possible, but I went to the bios, and I forgot I already had set PBO, Mobo limits + 300mhz, with -10 Curve Optimizer, so already it wasn't at stock.

you can check your in game cpu usage with msi afterburner and if you're gpu isn't hitting >90% most of the time and your cpu is working really hard it's probs a cpu bottleneck

ALL? Probably will be difficult but it might be possible depending on what mobo and psu you have as well as cooling

I'd say you should use some more PBO then if possible, try that and then after you increase the clock with some manual OC too, do a cinebench and see if your score improved

I'd like to ask what's best way to squeeze some extra performance from my 5900X ? OC ? PBO ? Or other tweakings ? Mostly for gaming.

CPU is AIO 360 cooled, so there is some headroom for OC.

PBO and unlock TDC/EDC/PPT

For PBO -30 on slowest CCD 2) and somewhere between -15 and -30 on CCD 1, highest value (-15) on best cores  (roughly)
