Budget, country located, primary uses of your PC and monitor resolution is needed.

my budget is around like 320-340, country is romania, i use my pc for gaming but mainly for vr and i do get some stutters in vr, 1920x1080 144Hz
i usually buy 2nd hand gpus here cause they sell cheapr even if they are brand new (sealed).

i was thinking if i upgrade my gpu and motehrboard to go with like a RTX 3060 Ti and probably like a B550 Motherboard

Look at the Ryzen 5 5600 cpu at PC Garage. Your board should be able to run that cpu after a bios update but check to make sure.

i was just looking at the 5600 the other day, also should i go for the 5600X?
forgot to mention that by 320-340 i meant euro not my actuall currency my bad (that would make it 1700 lei in my currency)
so then should i just go for a cpu and new motherboard?

Find out if your board supports 5000 series cpu's and if it does then grab a 5600 (non X) cpu.

The non X uses less power, runs cooler while giving almost identical performance.

aaahh gotcha so then no point in upgrading my motherboard or my gpu (for now)
(cause then i might buy an Aio cooler when i buy the cpu aswell since im still running it with the stock cooler wich is not rlly the best)

The 5600 runs cool. All you want for that cpu is a cheap 120mm single tower air cooler.

I'm not sure what would be the best choice for headphones. I use a 12 year old Sennheiser headset.

so as the title says I was planning on upgrading my pc rn I have
CPU R5 3600
GPU GTX 1070
Motherboard A320M-K
Ram 2x8 3200Mhz
I've been thinking and I'm not really sure if I should do Motherboard and cpu or Motherboard and gpu

Thats a really balanced setup

Board is pretty shit so id get a used b3/450 board for ~50€

As for the cpu look for a used 5800x3d which should be 200-250€ used, 3600 can be resold for ~50€

If you wanna upgrade gpu instead of cpu you can look for a used rx 6800(xt)/3080, 1070 are usually worth ~100€ but youll have to look around your used market to see what they actually go for

Cant check price cause cloudflare cant get its shit together and keeps looping on verifying connection

Its a decent cooler but id reccomend checking other coolers like the peerless assassin/phantom spirit 120, assassin x/king/burst, and ag400/500/620, might be able to get a better cooler for not much more or get a similar cooler for less

anow the problem arrives its either i buy 32gb ram or buy a new motherboard i looked at some
found these :
https://www.pcgarage.ro/placi-de-baza/asus/prime-b450-plus/
https://www.emag.ro/placa-de-baza-gigabyte-socket-am4-b450-aorus-elite-v2/pd/D2PDHDMBM/

2nd is just a little bit over the price the ram are but its not much of a deal
as for the cooler the one i found was the ag400
https://www.pcgarage.ro/coolere/deepcool/ag400/
wich is like the same price as the other cooler i wanted to buy
also found this one
https://www.emag.ro/cooler-procesor-deepcool-ak400-zero-dark-plus-r-ak400-bknnmd-g-1/pd/DCS6DRMBM/
wich is just a tad bit more expensive
i was thinking of going straight for gpu upgrade but im afraid my cpu would bottleneck a 3060Ti for example

You could probably just upgrade your GPU and be fine.  A 6700xt would be a huge upgrade over the 1070 and everything else would work fine.  With any lesser GPUs I wouldn’t bother upgrading your CPU.

With your budget you can’t really get a better CPU and a GPU that would justify the COU upgrade.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

lots of ppl recomended me the Rx 6700xt is it that good or would just a 3060 Ti be too much for my cpu asking since theyre the same price
also whats the difference between these 2?

Biostar Radeon RX 6700 XT Extreme Gaming OC 12GB GDDR6
XFX Radeon™ RX 6750 XT SPEEDSTER QICK 319, 12GB GDDR6

Nah either would be totally fine.  The 5th gen ryzen wasn’t even out yet when those GPus were released.  They’re about the same.  The 6700xt is a little faster and has more VRAM but the 3060ti ray traces a little better.  The specific board doesn’t matter much.  Just get whichever one is cheapest and has a good size radiator on it.  The 6750xt is the same GPU with a different factory clock.  A better cooler is a bigger difference maker that the 6700xt vs the 6750xt, but none of that will make much of a difference.

Probably enough hands in the cookie jar on this one but make sure your PSU can handle whatever upgrade you plan to do. You never mentioned what you have, so I just want to make sure you're covered there.

i have a 650w psu so if i upgrade the gpu it should be fine

When vr started to get mainstream, the GCN-based amd ones were a little rough (rx480 etc) but rdna and rdna2 are way better now.  Either way, the 3060ti and 6700xt are both great gpus so I’d go with whichever one you get a better deal on and/or which has a better cooler for the price.  If VR matters a lot, i’d prefer the 3060ti.

also if i buy the 6700XT shouldnt i upgrade my Motherbard aswell since the 6700XT is PCIe 4.0 and my motherbaord is PCIe 3.0?

No.  It can run PCIe 4.0 but there is no performance benefit.  With PCIe 3.0 the 6700xt will give you it’s full performance.  Even with PCIe 2.0 it’s about the same.

i know its been a while but i got the XFX 6700 XT also got a gpu stand since it was very big, but it works perfectly fine tested some benchmarks on 3DMark (i got like 1200+ points or so) my old 1070 would have temps of 90 to 92 constantly, did a stress test on this gpu for like 1-2 minutes temps went to 57-60
also thanks alot for the help 🙏❤️
