usb-c question

Hello! Can the usb-c port on the case be connected to a usb 2 port on the motherboard? In case anyone is wondering, the case will be for a future PC, but for the moment I will use it on the PC I have, just because the board is older and only has usb 2 connectors.

In theory yes, but I don't think anyone makes adapters for this purpose, the only ones I could find are USB 3 to USB C.

You might be able to find some adapter to do this. It would be in your better intrest to find a pci card that takes the USB C ports. Keeps the speed and no oddities come up. So something like this? https://www.newegg.com/p/17Z-00FJ-00036
