I got this delivered yesterday & it is dim. Like lamps of & still vary hard to see.

 

Azio Large Print Keyboard - USB Computer Keyboard with 3 Interchangeable Backlight Colors (KB505U) thw video makes it look a lot brighter, so here is the question are vids. reviewing backlit KBs enhanced? That makes no sense at all.

Maybe you just got a bad unit? try replacing it. If you are not satisfied even then, there are countless other options that could fit your use case, like- Amazon.com: SABLUTE Large Print Backlit Keyboard, Wired USB Lighted Computer Keyboards with 7-Color & 4 Modes Backlit, Big Letters Keys Easy to Read and Type Compatible for PC, Laptop, Desktop : Electronics.

I don't own this one, but I'm sure its good based on the ratings.

That is what I was thinking, because why would people enhance videos of backlit KBs Surely it is as bright as the video has it. Plus how can I tell if the vid is enhanced? So I got this yesterday, it is was dimer than in the vids. show. The vids would be unchanged from how this looks in real life rifgt? I would think so, why would the vid. show it as brighter on the page selling it?

Welcome to photography and videography.

 

Camera sensors don't have the dynamic range comparable to the human eye.

If you want the LED brightness to match real life, you need to underexpose the footage so that the LEDs are accurate, but everything else in the frame is very dark.

If you want most of the frame to match real life, it will cause the LEDs to look too bright because it is now overexposed.

The solution? You need to light up the entire frame to be brighter than real life, and then you decrease the exposure until EVERYTHING looks accurate to real life.

Alternate solution? Film in a "RAW" format and pull up the shadows or pull down the highlights.
