Hey all,

I'm looking at getting a new PC with a £3k Max budget (incl shipping). I do know an alright amount about PCs but not everything. I've put one together and just wanted to see if you guys would think its good enough/if anything can be improved or can be changed to what I need.

The CPU, GPU, 4 channel 32gb Memory, and PSU should stay the same as they are (Unless there's something cheaper with near enough the same performance). I'm going for an all black look with some nice RGB. I'll mainly be using the PC to edit photo and video and playing games like F1 23, MSFS, R6, Ready or Not, etc. (I definitely want to get the motherboard changed as £600+ for one is crazy)

If you need anymore info let me know!

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/r7gCCd

Thanks!

How about we just stick a monitor in the build so we know what resolution. The 14900K is an expensive heat producing power hog. You want low latency RAM such as CL30 so that you don't get bottlenecked in games. You want a set of 2x16GB RAM and not 4x8GB with these newer Intel builds. 1000W is overkill, that motherboard is expensive, etc, etc ...

Nvidia is due to release three new gpu's next month. Look at the reviews of the RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB. Expect that card to sell for 800 quid or less. You can use the onboard graphics that come with this cpu until then.

https://www.techpowerup.com/316842/nvidia-geforce-rtx-40-series-super-review-schedule-and-availability-confirmed

This gives you a case that's easy to work with and has excellent airflow, low latency RAM, ATX 3.0 psu for the RTX 40XX series cards, etc .. Replace the 140mm exhaust fan that comes with this case with the 140mm ARGB fan in this build. The 3-pk of 120mm ARGB fans goes inside the top of that case where an AIO would normally go.

Look for the i7 13700K on these charts so that you know what the i7 13700 (£354.97) is capable of vs the 7950X3D (£533.26)
