problem with air link connection

so when i try to play vr with air link on a meta quest 1, it plays great for a few minutes before lagging for 30  seconds and then going back to normal, is this normal or should i upgrade my router ( icotera i6800 )?

Definitely not normal. I don't know anything about that particular router, but you may be able to troubleshoot it a bit (settings, location, etc) or a better router should help. Are you using the 5Ghz band?

i'm using the 5 ghz band with 80mhz of bandwidth, the reception is perfect and i have ethernet on my pc
