I'm looking at graphic cards in between the 500 - 800 price range. Mainly looking for the best bang for the buck essentially. I've heard that the RX 6950xt is slightly slower than the RX 7900xt. I heard that nvidia is over priced however I'm making an assumption that the 4070 series will drop when the super start to come out in January 2024. I found these prices, and contemplating on the 6950 or the 7900xt, because of the price, but also saw a 4070ti for 750 as well. What is your guys thoughts on the following cards?

ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 TUF Triple Fan Overclocked 12GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card - 600

AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT Triple Fan 16GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card - 550

PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Hellhound Overclocked Triple Fan 20GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card - 750

Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Trinity Overclocked Triple Fan 12GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card - 760

Out of the cards you listed that 6950XT is by far the best deal.

The 7900XT is about 17% faster than a 6950XT but it costs 36% more.

The 4070ti is about 7% faster but costs 39% more.

The 4070 is 16% slower but costs 9% more.

So yeah definately 6950XT unless you only play ray traced games or use nvidia specific productivity workloads.

In short form, I second the previous reply, 7600XT is great aswell as the 4070/4070TI, if u can, go for the 4080 if its on a good deal any time soon.

If you care about dlss/fsr, fsr is arguably slightly better, but really  almost all games will be able to run max graphics easily with a 4070TI, plus raytracing. Userbenchmark may also help you, the website helped me building my pc

This is either a troll post or the worst advice I've ever seen on this forum.
