Windows UEFI problem

Rezoic

I changed from legacy to windows UEFI, installed it to my SSD and everything was fine, then when I restarted my pc it shows no bootable devices, only my usb drive, it booted fine the first time during the install etc but now it won't boot into it, what do I do?

What is "it" in this sentence?

ask me about my homelab

on a personal quest convincing the general public to return to the glory that is 12" laptops.

cheap and easy cable management is my fetish.

I have put my SSD into GPT, put my bios in Windows UEFI mode, installed windows 11 onto my SSD and it won't show my SSD as a boot option, everything has been properly converted and can't figure out what the issue is

Double check Windows was not installed as legacy drive. Though windows 11 can't really be legacy, only win 10. Here's how to update Windows retroactively. If it's a clean empty install might as well just reinstall Windows properly again.

Is the PC stock? No OC? If I've let the PC auto OC itself it does it wrong and doesn't decent drives due to some voltages being wrong.

Dont happen to have other drives connected? Maybe windows put the bootloader onto that drive instead.
