Finally got a new computer

Budget (including currency): 2300 CAD

Country: Canada

Games: Forza Horizon 5, Asseto Corsa, COD Warzone, Other racing games and FPS

Parts List: (Extra fans will add up to $100, the total in the image is $2200) Everything has been bought now I just need to build it.

Nice machine.  Bit overkill on the PSU but leaves room for upgrades later

I use a 750w with my 4080.

Yeah, I specifically wanted 1k for future-proofing and it was worth the extra 70 bucks over the 850. I have been saving up for 6 years for a good machine and finally had enough this year.

Totally understandable.  The RMx series is outstanding and I personaly only use it in all my builds.

Going a bit overkill on the PSU never hurts!

You saved up well and bought a very good gaming machine
It will provide an excellent gaming experience!

Just built it yesterday, very fun to finally play games at more than 30 fps (now its 165 fps)

Remember to enable XMP in the BIOS and download all drivers.

I bet! Going from 30 to 165fps is an insane jump!  Do you have a 144/165hz monitor?

 

I see you play a lot of racing games, do you have a wheel setup as well?

I am a huge simracing enthusiast ( Play FH5 with controller )  and I recently upgraded my wheel setup! I can show some pictures if you want . Been simracing since 2007.

Already installed XMP and drivers, Yeah I have a 2k 165htz and yes I have logitech wheel and I havn't used it on the new PC so far I have only downloaded Rainbow 6 Siege to test.

Aha!  Hopefully you can enjoy some simracing with the new PC. I felt quite a nice increase in car control after switching from 60 to 165hz.

I started with a Logitech G25 in 2006 and had a few G27's throughout the years and a T500RS.

Super hyped about Assetto Corsa 2 coming in the summer, cant wait
