I would suggest DisplayPort or DVI :)

 

PS: The monitor comes with a DisplayPort cable and a DVI cable :D

So I just got a PB278 and was wondering for the best experience what cable I should use as I've always used HDMI before.

I run displayport, but another user mentioned they have a wake up problem when using displayport and so they use DVI on this particular monitor.
