Budget (including currency):  $1000ish

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mostly gaming (borderlands series, Cold War, Star Wars battlefronts, maybe some others I haven’t discovered yet.) and occasionally light cad work using Onshape or simulations using motosim or epson RC+.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

This is kind of a starting point list I made I’d like to stay around $1000 but it isn’t carved in stone. I’m just looking for some tweaks if necessary and also not sure what else I may need to pick up such as fans or rgb controller or something like that. I’ll probably end up getting a 1080 or 1440 monitor definitely not 4K.

Thanks ! That is definitely better than what I had picked out for pretty close to the same price.
