1690 on 3d mark 

 

 

 

I can't maintain steady fps on anything I play.

 

Cs2 I can't get over 200 fps on any setting. 

 

Cod I'm lucky to see 180 with dllaa on.  Warzone is stuttering more then me infront if my first crush.  

 

Everything just seems very slow and looks horrible. 

 

 

Do you think this is a configuration issue or is it time to upgrade? 

 

If it's time to upgrade would you go cpu/mmbo/ram to a new ddr5 set up and keep the 3080 for a while or go new gpu and keep the cpu. 

 

 

I'm torn because gaming hasn't been enjoyable

Have you overclocked anything? How long has this been going on/when did it start?

Check all your drivers, check temps and run a benchmark to see if it's just the games

Your system is fine and doesn't require upgrading.

 

Counterstrike 2 recently came out. It will require many patches until it is stable. I freeze all the time in fire-fights.

You need to state a quantative issue. There is no answer to the vague question of "I don't like the amount of FPS or the graphics quality I have. Is there a problem?"

Low performance and shuddering and hitching in games is an issue.  Freezing and dropping down to the point where it's noticeable isn't an issue? Oh OK.  Thanks

Oh OK then you can buy it off me right? It's funny when I boot up my old build it runs cs2 the same. So your telling me my old system is either a gem or its just the game? I don't think so.

It's overclocked... it's a 10700k at 5.1.  Even if I drop the manual oc and run intels tuning.. it's the same performance.  Noticed it about a month ago.  It's fine I'll just junk it. Like everyone's saying it's not the pc .

 

 

 Never read anyone else having these issues so    never knew having low performance with a high end build was normal. Ever since it was built it's been nothing but a waste. 

 

 

Like life there's no point to any of this

I would have a great system that i got for cheap if I bought yours. I don't need 200 fps. I may have to get a smaller monitor since I used to have lazy-eye. I run a amd 5900x cpu which I bought last year .
