atx 5.0 QA

I have a new atx psu that has a atx 5.0 gpu connector and 4 atx 3.0 connectors but my gpu needs 3 8 pin atx 3.0 and my motherboard needs 1 8 pin and 1 4 pin atx 3.0 connectors. I am also using a thunderbolt 4 adapter that needs an additional 8 pin atx 3.0 is there an adapter to adapt the atx 5.0 to an atx 3.0 for my 30 series gpu?

Are you able to send that back for a refund? That is not a very good PSU at all. ARESGAME is terrible.

Yes, please send it back. ARESGAME is on the 'Replace immediately' on the PSU Tierlist.
What CPU and GPU are you using ?

here are 3 way better options for a 1000w PSU. I would personaly lean towards the Corsair RM1000x.

FYI, 8-pin and 4-pin ATX power connectors FOR THE MOTHERBOARD is different than the 8-pin PCI-E power connectors for the GRAPHICS CARD are different.

Also, you do not need the extra 4-pin ATX for a Ryzen 7 5800X; just the 8-pin EPS connector is already more than enough.

Ryzen 7 5800X is a "105W" CPU. The 8-pin EPS is rated for up to 384W.

It's ATX 3.0, if you are referring to the 12VHPWR connector.

I don't know where you are getting the "ATX 5.0".

I'm assuming you are mixing up "PCI-E 5.0" with "ATX 5.0".

RTX 3080 Ti is PCI-E 4.0 complaint.
