PC boot up by pressing controller button?

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub forum, I didn't know where else to ask this question.

 

Does anyone know of a way to turn on a PC by pressing the PlayStation/Xbox button on a controller? Much like you would with a console.

 

I'm guessing I'd have to put my PC into sleep mode instead of fully shutting down for this to work? Would leaving it in sleep mode hurt my PC over time?
