I don’t know much about my system specs or what the bios version is, this is all I know for sure.

RTX 2060 Super

AMD Ryzen 7 5700x

32gb DDR4 Ram

ICue h100 Elite Cappelix

Upgraded to Ryzen 7 5700x CPU from a Ryzen5, put in a New ICue h100 Water Cooler, now GPU fans spin but RTX2060S don’t light up when booting and it shuts off after 15 seconds. Tried spamming delete and pretty sure Ram is in all the way. Even took it out and put 1 in at a time. Took graphics card out and tried booting, still turns off and on every 15 seconds. Maybe I should put in old CPU and update bios???

Looks like 2 or 3 more days of youtube videos because I knew nothing about PCs AT ALL and had no business trying.

No need to worry, I'm pretty sure I can see the issue. It won't boot without a fan plugged into the CPU fan header. Plug one or both of the AIO fans into that, and you should be good to go!

If this doesn't work, I'd put the old CPU in and update the bios.

For next time, you could've checked your current bios version and see what the manufacturer says is compatible to see if upgrading your bios is necessary.

If that fails, try to strip down your system to make it as simple as possible. One stick of RAM, one boot drive, no extra add-in cards, etc.

What board is that? The BIOS likely needs an update if its an older system, especially if its B450 or earlier..

In fact that looks like an Asrock B450M Pro4 so it absolutely needs to be running AGESA 1.2.0.6 at the very least for support of that CPU. If you want to stay away from Beta's, I'd suggest this one.

So I put old cpu in, now my gfx card lights up but still turns off and on after 15 seconds. Spamming delete didnt work to get in. Im thinking the new cooler maybe isn’t making good contact with the cpu??? Not sure what else to do.
