PC black screen when gaming

R5 3600x

Asus strix b550f gaming wifi motherboard

32gb ddr4 3200mhz corsair vengeance rgb pro

Msi rtx 3070ti gaming x trio

Rosewill 650w bronze psu

2tb nvme ss

512gb nvme ssd

1tb hdd

 

When I game, about 5-10mins in my pc will randomly black screen then reboot and have me resign in, but my pc does not shutdown, even though I all my applications have closed and have to re-open. Then when I sign in, it is like nothing happened. But it will keep doing this. I have undervolted my gpu, set fan curves, and cleaned out pc so that dust build up is not an issue. It has a constant temp of around 83c when playing war thunder, my friend has the same gpu and when playing same game he has temps around 65-70c. So I think my gpu could be either over heating or my psu cannot keep up in high demand situations in games.

This is usually from GPU tripping protections on the PSU. My first step if it were me would be to upgrade your power supply to a higher wattage and likely better overall unit. Which exact PSU do you have?

I have a Rosewill 650w bronze

Get a better psu, rosewill not a quality brand... see if that resloves your issue

Rosewill sells a TON of different quality level PSUs, there is a specific model. Need the specific model.

ok, thats a really bad PSU overall. Definitely should be replaced with a better unit. 99% sure this is the cause of your problems.
