Fan Controller?

Hello all, I'm new to PC building. I have a build all fleshed out but I'm a little confused if anyone would mind helping me?

The motherboard I'm thinking of using is:  http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97mpower

I can't tell how many case fan ports there are on it.  I know the case I'm getting supports up to 6 fans, if the motherboard supports less what would be the best ability to get up to six fans going?  Would I run multiple fans off ports, or should I invest in a fan controller?

And if I invest in a fan controller, does it just use one port? If so, should I run only 2 - 3 fans off it so I don't risk the amperage going low/burning something out?

Looking at a close-up photo, I can make out 2 CPU fans and 3 System fans. If this helps any.
