you can't run the full version because RT doesn't support desktop programs. If you want to play minecraft it would have to be through the windows store

Actually you need a pretty good cpu to run minecraft, it is quite intensive. I doub't it would run on an tegra, even bay trail atoms struggle.

No. Windows RT-tablets have ARM processors, and cannot run regular x86/x64 executable programs. Basically on Windows RT tablets you're limited to what's in the Windows Store.

Is a Dell Venue 8 Pro in your price range? I've heard pretty good things about them.

yeah, i dont know how i feel about having no options to expand storage not even buy usb and the keyboard case has no trackpd, but i have used it at school and it is fairly decent, hope it runs minecraft well

 

oh it has micro sd nvm then

only downside is its kb dock now, guess i will look for a bt mouse

You could just get the Pro model of Surface. The Pro model has an x86 CPU and x86 version of Windows so it can run all x86 apps like Minecraft (and any other desktop app). The reason RT versions of Surface can't run is because 1) the developers have not ported it to the ARM CPU architecture and 2) on top of that Microsoft won't allow 3rd-party desktop apps on RT. 

 

Otherwise you could look into something like the Yoga 2 by Lenovo, which is a laptop that can fold the screen all the way backwards to be used like a tablet. It runs full x86 Windows and works with all desktop apps.

That was just one of the regular Intel tablets that I could actually remember. There are obviously better ones. Look around and see which ones you like. Make a thread for it and all of that good jazz.

both are too much, i would have around 400$ budget so even the t100 would be close

i have a while ago and they suggested the t100 but my budget has changed lately so i dk what it will be when it comes to buying, the only diffrence between the t100 and 8 pro are size and kb dock right
