is there much difference

Go to solution Solved by flibberdipper,

by transfer speed what does that mean? better fps? and yea i love the look of the board too

Think of it like this (and this may not happen in real life with your system, but it's a good reference).

You have a 16 lane highway, and everyone is happily going along at 70 MPH. Then more traffic comes in and it goes down to an 8 lane highway, and everyone slows down to 45 MPH.

is there much difference between PCI x16 and PCI x8. i want to no because my MOBO has 2x 16 slots but my GPUs will be so close together so will there be a fps hit if i was to space them out and one will be in PCI x16 and another in PCI x8

You'll be running them in the two light brown slots anyway, both 16x.

yea i no that is what is recommended but my 280xs will be so close together if i run 1st card in the top slot and the 2nd card in the last slot which is 8 x will there be a difference in FPS?

Do you have a picture with them in the two light brown slots? I thought there would be plenty of room.

I ran two 270x's on a asus m5 99fx pro r2.0 and they had a good inch between the cards.

Transfer speeds. That's pretty much it.

Also, I love the way the Sabertooth and TUF boards look. So sexy.

That I don't know, I've never played with eyefinity, but I'm pretty sure you might need all your monitors plugged into one gpu.
