GPU and CPU pairing

I’m building a pc in a month for Christmas and I got the 7800x3d when it was on sale at micro center for 300 dollars and bought a 4070. Is this a good combo and will it run over 300 fps in 1080p low settings in games like fortnite and cod?

Based on the GPU benchmarks for CS2 here, I think you'll get decent fps for esports:

 

I can't say what specifically you will get for those two games you mentioned, but try looking on YouTube for other users.
