recently upgraded my laptops ram from 8 gb ddr4 2666 to 16gb ddr4 3200.i know if i mixed different speeds it would default the faster one to running the same speed as the slow one. but is the decrease in speed that bad? like would having the extra 8gb make up for it being slower or do i just find a way to sell this seemingly useless stick of ram?
