anything fron  a 500w-660w bronze,silver,gold,pink, polkadots.

 

seasonic or brands that use them as oem

 

imo i think even a 430w would work but if your friend want to upgrade it's better for something like 520-620

Don't be an idiot, the less knowledgeable people that come here might believe some garbage like that.

 

 

@OP a CX430 from Corsair would be fine for that and they are around $40. A Slightly better alternative would be something in the 500-600w range from the likes of Corsair, Seasonic, Rosewill, Silverstone, Be Quiet, Cooler Master, Fractal Design, EVGA, or XFX as one of that wattage would give you room to expand later. Get one that is 80+ bronze rated or better and NEVER skimp on a power supply, if you buy a cheap one and it conks out it can take out your entire PC.
