Can I run four 4k monitors (1 at 144+ Hz; 3 at 60Hz)

I'm wanting to run four 4k monitors. One monitor at 144+ Hz. Three monitors at 60Hz. This is the screen configuration. I will be doing it from either a 4070-Ti, or a 4080.

 

 

My questions are:

1. Is this possible? Nvidia say you can run 4 independent 4k displays at 120Hz, and that other display configurations may be possible based on available band-width.
2. I've heard that running multiple monitors at different refresh rates can hurt performance, is this true? Is the impact significant?
3. How can I best achieve this 4 monitor layout to optimize for performance?

2. no, it's irrelevant. Each monitor runs independently. unless you run them all at once (for 1 game for example).

Ah ok, I saw multiple posts on Reddit complaining that they get stuttering when using multiple monitors at different refresh rates. Maybe it's fixed nowadays.

Also just curious what would this build mostly be for, why 4 monitors?

Mostly work and productivity. I usually always have a lot of tabs open (100+), and also a few applications open. And then I'd like to be able to game a little bit each day too.

Most i read, people complaining about running multiple task that requires some gpu processing on the second monitor like watching youtube, while gaming on the first one. Well that is also happening on a matching refresh rate. While gaming your GPU might allocate 100% of its processing power, 1% from watching youtube may distrub the "concentration".

I kept the same number of tabs open, on each browser, i'm running 4 different browsers at the same time. lol.

My pc must be lacking then, not bad. I get 130is fps in cs2 but I would never try 100 tabs in 4 browsers!

Keeping 100 tabs, doesn't mean they are all active all the time, non-active tabs are silently closed and reloaded when you open it.
