Widows RDS VD collection

Anyone got experience with windows RDS VD collections,

 

I have a personal VD collection;

 

I have created a new personal collection to test the following

 

Since the golden image is windows 1909, I have updated it to 21h1 in the test collection,

 

Sysprep /oobe the golden image,

 

Creating a new VD in the collection it's still picked up with windows 1909,

 

It looks like, VD has not updated it's collection template,

 

I have run update-RDVirtualDesktopCollection with parameters pointing to the server, connection broker, template and collection. it complains that the collecting is not pooled?

 

Any ideas?
