Hey, so I tryed diffrent ram configs

1st config - 3 times - 3 bsod's

2nd config - system wont post.

and my own try (removing just the 1gb stick) it show's I have 4gb installed and 4 gb available :)

Thanks a bunch, now I know what was wrong before :)

Hello,

I'll keep it short

Problem: I have 5 GB of ram, and I can't use them all. I can use only 3 GB of ram.

Tried: Adjusting Page File size, updating bios, bios (load fail safe defaults), changing ram slots, all options on MSCONFIG, memtest (everything was aokay.)

So, I would rly love ppl to help me out, cuz I have this problem forever. Since I got 64bit Windows, before 64 bit, I had 3gb of ram (added 2+gb).Hope to get help soon! :/

#1: Go to Run and type msconfig. Once you do this a box will come up and then go to the boot tab. On advanced options on the boot you will find two options, number of processorsicon1.png and max memory. Select the box max memory and it should automatically put the amount of memory installed. Once you reboot it will allocate more memory to your sytem but still hold a bit back for hardware requirements.

#2: You can try Memory Remapping through the BIOS.

#3: Reinstall Windows.

Found this on tomshardware

You can try these but they might not work because your on win 8

A data - 2gb

Patriot - 2gb

Tryed 1st option, don't know about memory remaping, cuz my bios doesn't have that feature.
