my 2 year old am5 build has been having a ton of issues lately, mainly windows but I ran into a huge issue with my computer boot looping on restarts. One fan sits fully unpowered and my computer gets stuck trying to repost. I thought it could be a ram issue, new ram same issue. I want to update my bios after throwing so much stuff at it but i’m afraid of my mobo bricking when it tried to repost after the bios update. Should I be afraid of that or just hope for the best and just send it?

included a picture of that fan sitting unresponsive when stuck in boot loop.

Also sometimes noticed a blue flashing or sometimes consistent blue light on the bottom right side of the mobo when looping.

Build: Gigabyte Aorus B650m elite ax, 7900xt, ryzen 5 7600x, corsair 5600mhz vengeance ram, corsair rm750 PSU

things i’ve tried. Checking all cables, Swapping psu, swapping ram and clearing cmos 3x

boot looping is usually ram/bios issue. Bios update has helped me before related to this issue.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

According to the specs at gigabyte product page, your board has a feature which allows you to flash the BIOS without turning it on. The feature is called "q-flash plus."

Really appreciate your response and telling me that. I did the q-flash and once it completed, same issue. Was stuck powered on this time after the bios flash though. Held power button and wouldn’t shut down. Unplugged and plugged it back in with ram couple minutes later and now haven’t had an issue after 3 reboots. Thanks a bunch!
