Bluetooth audio sharing ?

I have a single monitor setup and I really don't want to buy a 2nd monitor due to space constraints and the mismatched monitors would make the setup look out of place.

However, I hate alt tabbing out of games to change my background music because it takes a long time for the games to load back up again, often also freezing or crashing during alt tabbing.

So I came to the realization I could use my phone audio via Bluetooth connection through my PC. But since Bluetooth is known to have high latencies, would this have an affect on my in game connection latency or not?

I'm not really sure how Bluetooth connections operate between two devices. Would it start lagging my non-Bluetooth connection by taking bandwidth or whatever?

To answer your question first:
No, you bluetooth latency will have absolutely no impact on your internet latency (unless you are very unfortunate).

If you are using a wifi + bluetooth card to connect to the internet, and it is pretty cheap, you might run into issues, but that will be more just due to the fact, that the card now needs to do more work. You could also take up some of the wireless spectrum used by wifi, but that also only happens in certain situations and probably has an negligible impact.

If that all turns out to be too much of an hassle, I'd recommend running your game in borderless windowed mode, instead of fullscreen. That way, tabbing out will be instant and won't crash your games.
