PC Randomly becomes unresponsive

Sometimes, after a few hours, my pc will suddenly become unresponsive. I can still move the mouse, but clicking anything has at least a 10 second delay. I have also noticed that certain letters on my taskbar get jumbled up, such as the number inside the blue notification icon in the bottom right. Does anyone know what this might be? A restart fixes it (button on my case) but it is only a matter of time before it happens agaain. This is the third time this has happened, and the first time was a few weeks ago I think.

No bluescreens ever ? If yes, what code ?
Did you try to run a S.M.A.R.T test for your drives with CrystalDiskInfo ? Memtest for your ram ?

No bluescreens, all my drives are in good health according to CrystalDisk, and I ran a memory test not that long ago with no errors, guess I could try run that again?
