Budget: £200+

Colour: Black Ideally but don't mind.

Mouse Orientation: Normal/Ergonomic

Keyboard Layout: UK, QWERTY, Non-Ergonomic, Full size including Numpad (As I use this for modelling and game development)

Hey guys,

Recently I watched a video by Linus and it consisted of a wireless mouse, keyboard and a mat that kept them charged

As the post title says I am Looking for new Peripherals.

I am not educated on Peripherals but would like wires to be non existent.

Lighting would be nice. I know ICue can be a hassle but I rather like the idea of syncing my Peripherals to the games I am playing.

Per key light mapping would be good. Have brought keyboards before and they are solid colours so proper RGB would be ideal.

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it 🙂

Many Thanks,

Josh

HyperX Alloy Origins keyboard.

Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 mouse.

Artisan mousepad with your choosing.

Do you need other peripherals too?

Regarding keyboard go for something that has hot-swap switches. Nothing is more annoying than having to replace the full keyboard simple because you have one broken switch. It also allows you to try different types of switches without buying a whole new keyboard.

A good starting point would be looking at Keychron's K Pro series, which have wireless and are hotswap. Make sure to check out both keychron.com and keychron.uk: different prices/sales/stock.

They also have RGB etc.

Other brands exist as well, like Nuphy or the Monsgeek MG series (kit version https://www.monsgeek.com/product/mg108w-kit/). Though I don't know whether they have ISO layout options or only ANSI.

Unfortunately, most gaming oriented keyboards still don't have hotswap and the quality is often inferior for the price, compared to some of the latest budget customs. The Hyper X board seems decent, but the fact it is not hotswap is my main concern. It is also not wireless apparently?
