Location Netherlands.

Provider KPN

So I have a 1gb glasswired connection at my home and wired it works as it should to the computers it wired to (around 800/900mbps download)

We also have 2 tvs wired to the router

we have 3 (as the provider calls it) “superwifi” extenders on every floor one.

on the main floor i have a wireless connection of 180mbps download.

First floor it is around 160 mbps (multiple tests).

second floor (where computer stays) 120mbps

tried:

disconnection wires from router:

wifi on main and first floor went up with around 50mbps

tried 2:

restarting whole internet system in the house:

wireless wifi went up with around 20mbps.

can someone help me?
for more information ask away :)

It depends how the extenders work, if they are not using a dedicated wireless channel to communicate back to the router then the WiFi performance will be at best halved compared to connected to the WiFi of the main router.

If they are not in a strong signal location, the speed will be slower to begin with.

What speed do you get from WiFi when connected to the main router itself rather than the extenders?
