need help

tdkid

this is off topic because it doesnt fit anywhere else and its not really asking for help. i bought a AMD bundle kit back in August but i dont have any motivation to tear my old system down and rebuild it with the new parts. i want it done but i cant just seem to make myself "ok, its time to rebuild the system. i guess part of my issues is that the PC is inside of the corsair obsidian 1000D super tower case and that is the biggest case you can buy and as such, its a pretty heavy beast so i guess that is part of my problem. any advice on what makes you motivated to build your PC or do anything?

It's fun for me. I like tinkering around with stuff.

Currently I'm trying to get an M.2 riser card working

Wanted to play games with fancier graphics and higher framereates than what my old university student laptop can handle, so I saved up to build a gaming PC, finally did it on August 2021. Continuous improvements ever since, to the point that my current PC has different specs than the Aug 2021 original. One might even say it's the PC equivalent of the ship of Theseus.

well for me. my first PC was a prebuild from 2012, in 2018 i decided i wanted to upgrade it so i bought parts and did it. now in 2023 i bought new parts but i dont have the motivation to actually build it and that is what i need.
