Case fan configuration help

MegaMasterMike

Getting a new case for my pc and wanted  to know the best way to put the fans it comes with 7 fans can fit 3 up front , 3 on top , and 1 in the back with no fans on the bottom besides the psu. I was wondering should I do 3 front fans as intake and the 3 on top and 1 in back as exhaust or should I do 3 in front and 3 on top as intake and 1 in back as exhaust? And the 1 in back will be where my 120 aio will go.

thanks!

If it comes with 7 fans they're likely already installed in the case but usually you have front fans as intake and top and back as exhaust.

What are you fitting into the case? 7 sounds like mega overkill, especially if you only have a 120 AIO (which implies a modest CPU).

Short answer:  3 front intake, 3 top exhaust, 1 back exhaust (AIO), and 1 intake bottom.

You want air to FLOW thru a case, cool air in and hot air out, like a hair dryer.

Yeah there pre installed fans just wanted to make sure there in the optimal configuration and mainly I got this case because it looks cool with the 7 rgb fans lol but I got a ryzen 7 3700x on the 120 aio (runs like mid 70’s under load) and 16gb ram and gtx 1070 (getting a rtx 3080 soon lol)

That would be ideal but no spot on the bottom for a fan besides the psu fan so I would assume go with 3 front intake 3 top exhaust and 1 rear exhaust (aio)

Forgot to mention that cpu temp is with the cpu overclocked to 4.3ghz constant
