1. Peripherals have already been acquired

2. Monitor is a 1920x1080 27 inch monitor on 165 Hz

3. I plan to buy these parts during black friday or cyber monday

4. There is a Microcenter 1 hour away from where I live so I plan to also buy parts from there if there is a good discount

5. Gaming is not my biggest priority & I have little care for things like ray tracing. So long as the game works on medium-high settings I can live with it.

6. Willing to trade some money that could be put on performance for looks as I'm trying to go for an all-white pc build

7. Depending on what happens I could add an additional 500 dollars to my budget, and if so, where could I make an upgrade?

8. In terms of storage, it could change to a 2 tb instead of a 1 tb or later down the line I will add a SATA SSD

(existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

From what I've seen, they have some great time limited deals, so I'm guessing whatever you spec might change when you walk in.

How intensive is your video and photo editing? In other words: is it likely to need 64GB? Does it prefer/benefit from nvidia? Is it CPU or GPU heavy?

I've tried to keep everything white as requested, but the RAM is awkward to buy because I find it hard to filter (there's no XMP/EXPO or color selection?) and the motherboard has a black PCB. The SSD is also black, but I don't think it matters.

Yea that is one thing that I'm weary of. If they provide a solid deal, then I may make a compromise/changes.

It is mostly CPU bound. I video edit on a 16 gb of ddr5 ram and it has been fine, but i figured 32gb of headroom would work out, and if not, I can upgrade to 64gb later down the line.

Little over budget
But you could get a less white gpu for 100 less

Oh, I think my build is excessive, then. I'd swap the 4080 to a 4070 and 64GB to 32GB.

By the way, if you already have 16GB of DDR5, wouldn't it be better to upgrade that PC (since it must be recent)?

It is on a laptop and as much as I would like to use it for both my gaming and editing needs, it just takes up too much desk space in my dorm with the cooling pad it sits under
