O11 Dynamic Screen Mod Question

Shaneee

I wish to mount a screen inside my case to show AIDA64 sensor panel and or Discord while gaming. What I’m not sure about is the best size to get. I plan on mounting it flush against the front glass panel and I’ve only been able to find information about this on the mini case.
Any help is appreciated.

Just get a cheap second monitor

Gigabyte G24F 2 23.8" 1920 x 1080 180 Hz Monitor (G24F 2) - PCPartPicker

But if you're getting an O11 just get a 1440p high refresh rate one for 230 bucks

Gigabyte G27Q 27.0" 2560 x 1440 144 Hz Monitor (G27Q) - PCPartPicker

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

A guy with the XL version used a slim 15.6" portable monitor + black film to fit it in the front panel:

It was $220 though, and I assume you'd need a smaller display for the front panel of the standard O11D.

@filpo No room for a second monitor and I have the case already, have done for a while now.

@Zando_ Yeah that's the issue. Everything I've seen is the mini or the XL. Found a decent deal on a 11.6" 1080p IPS panel but unsure on how it'll fit...

Check the dimensions on the display panel vs the front panel on your 011, subtract a reasonable margin for where the frame is around the edge of the front glass, should be able to calculate whether it fits. If the panel is reasonably slim then it shouldn't cause any issues with GPU/side fan clearance either.
