Chrome tab refreshing automatically

Are you guys facing problem on your chrome browser for Android phones where it keeps refreshing the tab you are on again and again until you close the app.

Which device are you using if facing this problem and your OS just to specify if it is device(brand) specific or OS specific.

I tried clearing data for chrome and Android system web viewer it paused for a moment but continued again.

Been a couple of years since I've used Android but IIRC you force closed and cleared data on misbehaving apps.
